I’m so glad you’ve arrived. Care Home Projects is where I share with you what interests me most. I have been a care assistant for nearly 5 years now, working in many settings before focusing on dementia residents. In my personal life I enjoy improving the sustainability of my home with gardening, DIY's, crafts, cooking and baking.

Within my job at CareUK I have recently picked up the role of Sustainability Champion a new role to help improve the sustainability of the site I work. Each home within CareUK will have their own Champion focusing on their own tasks but together improving the whole of CareUk's sustainability.

I have created this blog as a way of tracking and recording our progress digitally rather than a printed article as the start of reducing waste.
